Very nice game, reminds me of tomorrow corporation games (aestheticaly wise). The feeling of not being under control was very clear on this one. Well done!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the music. Jonas worked very hard on the AI and it resulted in lots of funny out of context quotes like "Damnit, there are a bunch of crying children and I can't calm them down because of a bug!" - Jonas 2020
With more time could be a fun simulator like game. Like build the nursery up and do the game loop here but add on to it and make new buildings that change the behaviors or help with some issues and even add new ones.
Makes sense. We focused more on thematic and narrative aspects than on pure gameplay. I think the contextualization makes all the difference though. Certainly a game that wouldn't work or be fun if it was just reduced to abstract shapes.

Lmao i wasn't expecting that. Now that is out of control. GG
The school is on riot in the first few seconds, wow, that's what it's like to take care of a lot of children
Even though it's clearly exaggerated for comedic effect, it was somewhat inspired by real life for sure :D
Fun... but actually got me anxious, overall a good game. Not for me tough T-T
Oof, sorry about that :o
Missed the day progress bar because of the default webgl template scrolled down.
Do sad kids infect other kids with sadness? it seems like one would start then the whole area was crying.
Kids can start crying when an angry kid hurts them or when they want to play somewhere but can't. :)
Fun game, amazing audio.
Thank you! I'm glad people are mentioning the sound design / music :)
I spent almost the full second day on audio.

Wow! I love to drop kids! Dropping children is my favourite pastime
Nice, you'd make an excellent nursery school teacher!
Grab and drop kids with space
Yes. Part of the job!
After I found 3 severed heads, I decided I don't want kids no more

I wouldn't say the game play is that interesting, but I love the art, and there's clearly been a lot of effort put into this, good job

Yeah, game is lacking more content. I agree. Maybe we overscoped a bit.
That would actually be really cool!

That is a good point, maybe I was playing it in a more surface level way, more than going more in depth
